  1. Fujifilm found a bug and suspended distribution while they fix. There is this from their US web site...
  2. Here in the US, the first Monday of September, Labor Day, is a national holiday. Per the U.S. Department of Labor, "Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country." I work in Denver, Colorado in a part of town that is undergoing a major construction boom. I came across this construction worker showing his son (I assume) "where daddy works". The kid was fascinated and delighted with the construction equipment, the tools, the trucks, the noise,... I took this with my X-T10 18-55. I had to rack it out to ~55 and shoot quickly. I also had to crop it pretty tight so I could get the expression on their faces. Anyway, Happy Labor Day!
  3. I'm asking myself similar questions about what prime to get - 23, 27, 35. Since I have an 18-55 kit lens I was able to preset the zoom (with help from a piece of electrical tape) at, for instance, 23mm and take photos only at that focal length for a day or two. Then I did the same for the other focal lengths I was considering. While it didn't help me compare size, weight, and wide open f-stop performance of those various primes, it did help me get used to the various view angles and which came closest to the type of photos I want to make. I know that won't help you with your 90mm decision, but maybe you could lock down at 35mm for a couple of days and see how you like it.
  4. I just got an X-T10 with 18-55 a couple weeks back. Sold off some Canon gear to get it. It's definitely putting the fun back in photography for me, and that 18-55 is one of the nicest "kit" lenses I've ever used. BTW, I dig your Farmer's Market shot.
