Saving custom color profile settings doesn’t work

Hi! I have been struggling for many hours with trying to set up the custom settings through slots C1-C7. 
 

For some reason, the following happens: I go to edit/save custom settings, and open slot C1. I press edit. I start setting the values just like in the film recipes, then I press back. It says ”Settings ok?” And I press OK and save the settings. BUT, nothing is saved. It exits it and says it saved it but the slot is still the default one it was before I tried doing it. I can’t change any settings of any slot at all and it is driving me insane because I do it EXACTLY as in the user manual and all YouTube videos and it just doesn’t work! I tried removing the battery and still no change. 
 

please help me, what can I do?!

When it says "Settings OK" CANCEL is highlighted - do you move the highlight to "OK" before you press the "Menu OK" button?
