  1. Thank you, sir. I just want to be sure that I am correct that, apart from image quality settings, all of the other menu settings appear in all of the custom C1-C7 choices.
  2. This is a quote from another forum: “Custom settings are often referred to as "custom film recipes", as these do not store all your camera settings, but just the ones available inside "IMAGE QUALITY SETTING ’", and they mostly (if not exclusively) affect the JPEG alone (like FILM SIMULATION, GRAIN EFFECT, WHITE BALANCE, HIGHLIGHT TONE, SHADOW TONE, COLOR... etc). My question is if settings other than those about Image quality, such as function button assignments, etc., when once set via the various menus will apply to all custom settings C1 - C7. Camera is X-T3, if that matters. Thanks for enlightenment.
  3. Thanks, Greybeard. I can live with two buttons, but just wanted to be sure that the X-T3 was behaving normally.
  4. I guess no one here has any experience with using AF-L on the X-T3.
  5. In order to get the AF-L button to lock focus in AF-S on the X-T3 I have to first establish focus via half press of the shutter before pressing the AF-L button (a two-button process). The AF-L button is set to on/off toggle. Can anyone with an X-T3 confirm that this is the normal sequence? I am aware that some other x-mount cameras (such as X100T and X-T1) use a one-button process in AF-S , wherein pressing AF-L both establishes focus and locks it, and want to be sure that the two-button process is what the X-T3 follows.
