Hi there,

I have 2 cards that I use. A 32gb and 16gb Sandisk Extreme. The 32gb works fine on both cameras. However the 16gb only works on X100F. Should I exchange the camera if I'm having an SD card slot issue already? I'm just confused as to why the other sd card would work fine in both cameras and the 16gb wouldn't. I formatted the card both in camera and on my mac to no avail.

Any tips would be appreciated !

What you are describing often pops up in various forums, it is not limited to Fujifilm cameras. Try a couple more sd cards before worrying about the camera.

But one thing, only format the card in the camera it is being used. Even swapping formatted cards between the same species of cameras can be problematic.

    • Hi! I’m new here too. Losing settings might be due to the internal battery running low try keeping the main battery in or charging via USB-C. Also, backing up with Fujifilm X Acquire can help. Thanks for bringing this up!
    • Thanks for the tips! Turning on the camera before plugging in USB really helped. Zoom works fine for me too haven’t tried others yet, but good to know about Webex and Camtasia.
    • I bought a Fujifilm X-T5 to use for my service photography. But in fact, the quality is not as they advertise Although I use red label XF lenses for this machine, the image quality is too bad, not sharp. The AF-C system, eye - face tracking of the X-T5 is very poor, often out of focus and is my nightmare every time I go home after the photo shoot to check the image on the computer. I lost a lot of customers because of the poor image quality that Fuji X-T5 brings Will there be a firmware update as soon as possible to fix these problems? I'm considering changing to ZF because I really don't trust Fujifilm equipment
    • It seems there isn't a definitive solution to resolve "NEW FIRMWARE NOT TO BE FOUND. TURN OFF THE CAMERA."  I have 3 x prime lenses for my XE-2, and recently fell back into using it daily after a very long time. As it had been so long, I first upgraded the body to 4.11, then tried to update each of my lenses. Not one download (.DAT) file has worked on either. Due diligence was executed whilst trying to update the firmware on each lens to no avail. I'm savvy with upgrades and tried: formatting repeatedly, different computers & cards, downloading files direct to card, using different batteries, lens on, lens off, checking file names, and even balancing on my thumb whilst performing the former, but, still no joy. So, has anybody successfully updated a lens from 1.00 to 1.01 or beyond on an XE-2 running firmware version 4.11? Maybe, the answer is, the XE-2 running 4.11 firmware does not support any lens updates from 2019, but a response from google ai discounts that. I'd be grateful for for any help on the above. 🙏🏼
    • I installed X-Webcam on MacOS Sequilla 15.  I've set the camera: 1. Wrench - Connection Mode - X Webcam  2. AF/MF - Face/Eye Detection Setting - Face Detection ON - EYE Auto , then i link the camera to the laptop use both a USB Type C cable and an HDMI micro cable.  The FujiFilm Cam isn't detected on Zoom app, Tella, or Loom camera options. Hw to fix this? -
