Please correct me if I am missing something, but as far as I can tell the image stabilisation (IBIS and OIS) has been affected by the recent FW update to V4.00 on X-T5 (and so it seems, to V4.40 on X-T2). I expect the same problem on X-H cameras after the recent update, maybe someone would like to test. Previously, you could choose to have IS on full time (“Continuous”) or only when you press the shutter button to focus (“Shooting Only”). Now this works only in AF-C. In AF-S when you switch to Shooting Only, IS does not work. Continuous works. In AF-M I have to try yet. I tried with the XF90, XF18 F1.4, XC50-230, XF18-55. Seems to me like a bug in the new FW that could be corrected in future updates. Has anyone else encountered this or has anyone perhaps found some relationship to other settings that could influence this behaviour ?

I am trying to add the stabilization on/off into quick menu but IS option for video shows up but not the photo IS. Is there a way to add it to Q menu, i would like it to be there so i can quickly switch off and on depending on my tripod use and handheld situations.

I know that Fuji IBIS does work with Vintage lens but only 3 axis. I wonder is this work all 5 axis with VIltrox 85mm f/1.8 lens? Thank you very much, somebody please answer me!

I just recently bought the xs 10 and havent used it much it's still new. I noticed that when shooting 4k and DCI 4k there's a lite flicking sound that sound like a fan or something that comes from the front near the lense mount or even in the lens. I also heard this during playback when testing the internal mic. This sound does not happen when shooting FHD and I'm wondering is it because shooting 4k is more taxing on the Camera or the Lense. When I take the lense of and record with the sensor cap on the camera the sound is gone. is this normal or is this a fault and If its a fault can it be fixed or should I send the camera back. Thanks

On to the new X-T4. Neither Simethicone nor Beano can solve Fuji GAS. My X-T3's go to my daughter, replacing her aging X-T2's which go to a better home somewhere. I shoot mostly with OIS lenses although I do have some non-OIS lenses, I prefer (for my style of photography) to use the zooms to react to changing composition quickly and not change lenses so much in the field. With newer camera features, better higher ISO's and Topaz AI plugins to Photoshop, I am hoping to free myself more from my long standing "addiction" to my Gitzo tripods. At 86 my hands aren't the steadiest. I am hoping that the addition of the additional axes provided by IBIS with my OIS lenses will give me less shaky shots with my hand held image making. I have been a hobbyist photographer for 67-68 years. (Somewhere I still have my first Kodachrome color slide with my first serious camera from the early 1950's) Any thoughts that IBIS with OIS lenses will help much? Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows if the AF 12mm F2 X lens IBIS problem was solved. Is a new firmware update (of the lens) going to be released in the near future? Thank you, Jonathan.
