x-pro 2 - the iso dial sucks big time.

I have no problem with it as I cut my photographic teeth on analogue cameras with dials like this, it can be a little challenging when shooting shutter priority to read clearly upside down but on the whole it is fine and it adds to the retro styling and does have a practical purpose that allows instant view of ISO rather than through a menu. There will always be those who do not like it but I bet many do and Fuji have obviously canvassed many photogs before adding it as well as getting feedback from the 100+ X- photographers who tested the prototype and to date I have not read any of their reviews that list it as a negative. -

Jakke, that is a superb capture and so full of character. I love the wispy smoke that almost mirrors the wispy hair - good timing!

Thanks Warwick, The 18mm is part of my Holy Trinity (18mm f2 / 35mm f1.4 / 56mm f1.2APD) I also have the superb 55-200 for special events. I am loving the X-Pro2 and find it a huge step up in performance from the X-Pro1 (which I intend to keep). I am sure you will get a great deal of satisfaction from the combo as the 18mm is instant on the new camera. Enjoy!

I was out in the countryside and grabbed some images with the X-Pro2 + 18mm f2 lens, a great combo for grabbing the moment.
