  1. Why they still make XF 18-55 when there is XF 16-50/2.8? Why they still make XC 50-230 when there is XF 55-200? The answer is simple: for you to have a choice.
  2. In semiautomatic modes exposure indicator shows exposure compensation value. It works exactly the same in Canon cameras. Flashing f-stop or time means that camera cannot get correct exposure because one of these parameters exceeds maximum or minimum value. For example: if you try to take a picture in a sunny day with iso set to 1600, f/1.4 and Tv mode, you get flashing speed indicator because correct exposure requires faster shutter speed than 1/8000 sec.
  3. And doesn't work at all on Windows (7 x64). Also profile names are diplayed in capital letters. Not a big problem really, but I don't know the reason.
  4. Some women say that girth is much more important then length :-) EUR price might include VAT (15-27%, AFAIK), that makes a substantial difference.
  5. Boxed lens only or bundled with a camera? I've paid approx. 233 EUR for my XF 35/1.4 as a kit (with X-T1 and 18-55/2.8-4), but regular price is twice as much. Don't forget this is a completely new lens and it's price tag includes "early adopter tax".
  6. I just wanted not to have clouds in RGB 255:255:255 colour. Oh well, just another quirk I've got to get used to after changing the system. PS: I just love in-camera raw editing... Incredible!
  7. Which version of DNG Converter do you have? You need at least 9.1.
  8. D-Range: 100 Highlighttone: Soft Shadowtone: Medium Soft Noise reduction: STD Edit: I've played with in-camera raw processing and there is a difference. I guess have to get used to different settings for indoor and outdoor.
  9. It was just a test shot, but yeah, at f/3.6 and 1/20 sec I had to use ISO 3200. There was virtually no post processing (I mean manual) except equalizing exposure (+0.7EV, raw image was underexposed). I don't really care, I shoot raw anyway, but waxing is a fact.
  10. Allegedly, you say?
  11. Thanks a lot, man. Typical Windows (W7 x64 in my case) path would be: C:\Program Files\Phase One\Capture One 8\Color Profiles\DSLR
  12. Meh. External power supply makes it useless outside studio/tripod environment.
  13. Of course you can't, because you already have XF 35/1.4 lens.I would seriously consider smaller, 1 stop slower WR lens for my X-T1 if I had a choice at the time of purchase. Choice is always a good thing to have.
  14. Still looks like not-quite-in-focus to me. I cannot help you as I don't own this lens.
  15. My guess is that even though your camera confirms AF lock in reality you are closer than MFD.
