  1. Hi! I'm a working pro based in Philadelphia, PA USA. I still mostly use Nikon's for most of my commercial photo/video work, but love the X system for it's size, handling, and image quality (COLOR!). I'm looking forward to the next firmware update and the next generation of bodies! 24mp w/ decent video would be fan-effing-tastic!
  2. I use a Think Tank City Walker 10. Great bag. Light, durable, plenty of pockets. Holds my X-T1 w/dovetail grip, 18-55, 55-200, 14, and 23mm lenses. Tabletop tripod, flash, extra batteries, cards, sketchbook, pens/pencils, tablet, phone, etc. - no problem. It has the two things I need in any shoulder bag - the ability to stand on its own when on the ground and, the most important for me, side pockets that can hold a water bottle or be a temporary, quick access spot for lenses while shooting.
  3. With my DSLRs I've always ballparked how many shutter actuations they had based on the folder naming convention on the memory cards. Every time the shutter turns 1000 the folder on the card would increase it's number by 1. This works if you never change the folder naming convention. I don't know if Fuji's work the same way and I don't have the camera in front of me to check. That said, unless you're doing a lot of high frame rate action shooting or timelapse, chances are that the shutter won't be the first thing to go on the camera.
  4. I like that lens quite a bit. If mine is ever lost or broken or something I'd probably buy it again over the 55-140. 300mm equivalent in such a small and convenient package would be really hard to give up!
  5. FWIW, I have much less of a problem with dust on my X-T1 than any of the DSLR's I've used over the years (D200, D2X, D700, D800). I've never had to wet swab it - just used a blower maybe 2 or 3 times. Going in i thought it would be much worse, given that there's no curtain in front of the sensor.
