LocalGhost got a reaction from dincz in Don't want bracketing
It comes from film photography times - back then it was a setting affecting the motorized film drive / transport mode (single frames, continuous etc). I think it still is a fairly accurate and descriptive term in today's digital cameras, although I totally see how it can be confusing for non-native English speakers (being one myself[emoji12] )

For the love of G*d, a battery indicator that gives you an idea about remaining battery charge. Like percentage display or something. Or just divide the old one into 5 bars and make it work.

That part got corrected with the X-Pro2, so it's very safe to assume it will be ported over the X-T2 too.

Always 5600k for flash, I used several brands and that's just fine.

In the "Specifications" page of my i40 flash manual it shows the flash has a color temperature of 5600K. So I just go in the WB menu
and set this value for "Color Temperature" (5600K).

IS, autofocus, and aperture control. There are dumb adapters with a built in aperture, but that new aperture is in the wrong place, of course, and will cause vignetting. Also, it's not automatic, so you'll have to open it manually to focus, close it to take the image... uargh.

It's not a bug, it's a feature  :-) There's nothing wrong with your camera. Like darknj said, it is looking for some moving object in order to focus on it and track it throughout the frame / focus area. Works like a charm (at least for me) in car racing photography, especially when a car is coming towards you. What would be the point of locking a continuous focus, anyway? :-)

Like I said in the other thread, in Shooting Menu 4 there's an option AE/AF LOCK MODE. Change it to ON/OFF SWITCH and you won't have to keep AF-L pressed - press once to focus and lock, then you can recompose and shoot as many shots as you need with focus locked. Pres AF-L again to release the focus. Works in S and C mode, not in M, though.

I don’t have a X100t  to compare with my X-T1 but I really think that it has more to do with the shooting technique than with the camera itself.

In other words there were people shooting pictures of children moving around even with the first generation of cameras and getting this with acceptable results.

There is no box which contains the ability to do this. The idea that you can buy chops in a box is really a chimera.
