I originally thought this was an immature blue heron...........I believe this is a "little blue heron". First time I've seen one of these in person.

I have the 70-300 and the 150-600.............the former is soooooooo easy to carry on hikes which I do very often. The 600mm is a special lens (at least it is for me); however, it is heavy and I'm more selective on when I use it. For overall run and gun, hiking, wildlife, the 70-300 is a pretty cool option.......mostly because of its size and weight.

Agree with Jerryy..........I use the 70-300 A LOT and love it. I have the 1.4 TC and I rarely use it, I find the lack of light to be limiting. I recently bought the 150-600 Fuji lens and it is wonderful, super reach and super sharp. A bit heavy to carry around so I still carry the 70-300 most of the time. When I do take the 150-600 with me, I've been amazed with the results.

I agree, I just purchased one about a month ago and I find it to be superb. Even better than my 70-300.....which is also pretty darn good.
