    Most likely it‘s a wrong setting. Are you shooting inside or outside? What are the actual settings of the resulting photos (EXIF data)?

    These photos aren’t comparable, one was taken outside and one inside. At least, you have to open the lens more inside of a room.

    Take the Fuji and save some budget. But keep in mind the Fuji has an APC-C sensor, so the effective focal length you get is about 42mm.

    Welcome, William! There should be a label on the charger specifying if it‘s multi voltage. If it is, you still need a plug adapter. There are a lot of different sockets in Europe.
