  9. So I finally got around to testing this lens today. Straight .jpg's. Barrel distortion is horrendous. You should be able to click through to see full size files. This first one wide open. The others between f8 and f16. I won't be using it again, the Zonlai is far superior. The Kaxinda 50mm f2.4 is another matter, it's good but too long for most of my work.
  10. They're both pretty good for the price. Solid and quite compact. Here's one from the 25 @1.8 (focus on the glass) and here's one from the 35 @f16 Wall Watching. by Begi Nabara, on Flickr The 35 will focus down to one foot. The 25 down to 7 inches.
  11. DOF is the same. The right hand image shows the OOF area slightly darker (slightly different angle of vue?). As I've said elsewhere, I'm an image man. I have neither the time, patience or energy to argue such things, though there are plenty of gear-heads here to help you. I suggest you start a new thread on the subject. Cheers.
  12. Neither. How can there be any difference with the "same settings?
  13. This was a little tongue in cheek BTW. I'm mostly an "image" man, though there is some little "gear head" in us all Sorry for any offence.
  14. Thank you, Martin. I don't normally sharpen, but that one you linked to does look like that now you mention it???
  15. You're so wrong. I've been "trying it" for over forty years. Please show us some examples.
  16. It's a nonsense question. The "bokeh" comes from the lens. Digi of film, it doesn't matter.
  17. I've had this for awhile (but not had the chance to test, I have the 25mm too). One from the Zonlai and another from a Voigtlander color skopar 35mm f2.5 pancake. Wall Watching. by Begi Nabara, on Flickr Wall Watching. by Begi Nabara, on Flickr
  18. Too many Fuji Rumours at Fuji Rumours?
  19. Again, my bad. I thought we were closer that this. Cheers.
  20. These magazines are excellent! Is there no way to down load them as .pdf? Cheers.
  21. Thanks for this. I thought there were working models in the hands of testers.
