ChuckH reacted to xtrans in What is your X-E3 wish list?
Here's my wishlist for X-E3, and I would buy this camera in a heartbeat and never look at others :
    - Larger EVF
    - 24MP X-trans3 sensor
    - Weather Sealing
    - ISO dial (along with the shutter speed dial. If only one is possible I would prefer the shutter speed)
    - Same form factor

The XC 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 is really quite good at the 16mm lens. This is a HDR panorama that I stitched together in LR.

Here are some more stitched portraits.

This is what I started with, with basic exposure and colour correction, and with the detail slider cranked to 100. My Mac's dying and can't handle stitching RAWs (which is a bummer for editing the stitched file), so I batch exported them to JPGs, re-imported them into LR, merged them in PS, then sent them back to LR for final touches like vignetting, a bit of split toning to help tone the sky down, and minor stuff like cleaning up a bit of colour fringing.
Here's a single frame:   DSCF0091 by Phil Babbey, on Flickr   And here's the largest file I could get while still having a standard aspect ratio (4x5):   DSCF0092-Edit by Phil Babbey, on Flickr   And here's a square crop:   DSCF0092-Edit-2 by Phil Babbey, on Flickr   This is another location. I really like how this one turned out.   DSCF0135-Edit by Phil Babbey, on Flickr

I disagree, after all, it is a fact, as I mentioned, that nothing at at has changed ( at least in most of Europe) in the price of the X-T1 even after two years from its introduction (aside temporary special offers) , because there is not , yet, an X-T2.

When the replacement will be here the price will drop. The X-E1 and X-pro1, still great, but surpassed cameras, has been reduced but we are talking of 4 or 5 years after introduction.

This in not a theory but a verifiable fact.

Putting the new Fuji XF 16 1.4 to use. Love this lens, just what I needed for when the X100T doesn't give me the wide angle I need.

Both shot with the X-T1, 16 1.4, manual speedlights via 60x60 softbox.

Some of my work from early 2015. Trying to mix it up more, working on concepts with some make-up artists.

Hello. My name is David. I am a portrait/head shot photog in Atlanta. This I my first post. Gaining more confidence with my Fuji X-T1 on every shoot. I hope to participate often in this thread with my work. I would encourage any criticism or tips I can use with the Fuji X-T1. Thank you.

Some more shots from the beginning. Re-edited a while later since I beefed up my Photoshop skills earlier this year...

First shot in the series was what killed my 56 APD. Autofocus motor creeked and yelled throughout the session, and this shot was the final one before I decided something was seriously wrong... You can see the focus was missed, as turned out later were 98% of all shots from this session. I sent in the lens to Fuji and got it back a few weeks later. They changed out the autofocus motor, but problems were even worse after that. Sent it back a second time. They changed the whole optical assembly, and now it seems to have been fixed.

    Hi all,

I got into the Fuji system after using a Micro-Four Thirds system for a while. For portraits, the sharpness, skin tone rendering and level of detail is incredible, certainly when adding flash...

Some of my more recent work, if admins approve, I'll keep this post updated as I process new shoots. Started doing portraiture in November only, so there will be some progression hopefully over time

Gear used up to today, together with generic speedlights and modifiers.

    X-T1
    56 1.2 APD
    50-140 2.8
    16 1.4

First post is my earliest work with the Fuji system. Three shoots I did in December.
