Another fine chapeau ... Thor's Helmet (NGC 2359).

This is the equivalent of a 52 minutes, 30 seconds exposure.
Other known aliases include the Duck Head Nebula, the Flying Eye Nebula, the Duck Nebula and the Whistle Nebula.
Like M104, the Sombrero Galaxy, Thor's Helmet is certainly large enough to keep the hot sun off of your head. The nebula is actually a big 'ol bubble formed by a solar wind blowing from a star through a gas cloud.

The Jacobean House stands in the grounds of the much older Hay Castle at Hay-on-Wye.  It's just been refurbished, at great cost.  They did a good job, as I hope the image shows.  X-T2, 50 mm XR lens.

A short while ago I had a playful morning, dropping the sigma 56mm attached to my x-e4in my bag and nothing else, decided to ignore architecture and to devote to the strong characters of vibrant, deep, real urban life.

    Or else.

But first a man has to eat.

And what are we without a glass of wine and a book?

And then out the door I am

    Oh so urban

    Ambience, please. Here you are

    Fear to be overcome

    Edgier again

Must move, not to disturb the magic

    Getting there

    and then looking up

    But we are not alone

    They are watching

    Me too: once,

    Twice!

Then a moment devoting myself to art

Heading into a seedier corner, and it shows . You know who they are

And I move to a safe place

Then, out and heading home, meeting a happy accident

Two minutes there and then on the tram
    That’s all!

I was at Sebring this last weekend, and took the opportunity to put the x-t5 and the viltrox 75mm f/1.2 (both with current firmware) through its paces.   I’m happy to report that the AF system was easily up to the task.

The shots I’ve managed to finish processing are here…
    Sebring 2023
I had also rented a xf150-600 from lensrental.com to see if I would like it.  It unfortunately too much lens, and offered few chances for being used.  The 75mm focal length was near perfect.  I did get to also use my XF 18mm f1.4 r lm wr which is a stellar lens as well.

Like others have stated, it happens and can happen to any brand make or model. All industries are subject.
I have had my X-T5 for 2 months and it is perfect. I come from Canon FF both EF and RF and Nikon for analog, all companies and segments with incredibly high QC rates. This Fuji is the same, from mechanical to software, top marks.
If you look for negative reviews, you will find them. Complainers are 10x more likely to voice an opinion than those satisfied.

I'm a bit late to this discussion, but this is my first-ever contribution to this forum. I had used to work as an intake specialist for camera repair, where I became familiar with problems particular to certain makes and models of cameras. Some models have problems that tend to occur because of their design or a part specific to them. I learned to do research on what such common problems were before I'd buy a camera. For example, I've seen repeatedly reported that the screen on the X-Pro3 has shorted out because of how its mechanical apparatus affects the ribbon cable that carries the signal to the screen. (Such issues are why it's prudent to wait a while after the release of a new model.) The thing with Fuji cameras is that such a "flaw" in design is rare, as I find them incredibly well-constructed. Also, although it does happen, it's rare for me to learn of a Fuji X camera that has "just quit." I've fallen down, with my X-T4 hitting the ground, on more than one occasion, and the camera remained unfazed. I'd expected at least for its IBIS to be affected by this, but no.

    Mineralized Worm Moon

The moon shines so brightly that it seems there is no color there, just bright reflected sunlight. Not even green, if you recall that the moon is made of green cheese. 😀. Actually there is a lot of color, one technique called 'Mineral Moon' brings it out. NASA has an example: https://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/imagegallery/image_feature_819.html
March's full moon is called The Worm Moon, on account of the soil warms up and the worms crawl out. Worm Moon goes by quite a few other names:  https://www.timeanddate.com/astronomy/moon/worm.html

    Fish Head Stew

This is NGC 896 (also known as IC 1795) The Fish Head Nebula. Fish Head is located just next to the very beautiful Heart Nebula (IC 1805), so close that it looks like it is connected to it. This is the equivalent of a 102 minute exposure.

Rigel and the Witch Head Nebula:

This is typically how IC 2118 (usually called the Witch Head Nebula) is presented, upside down. In space though, there really is no such place as "up". The nebula is a reflection nebula; which means it does not give off any light on its own, but instead reflects the light from stars, nearby street-lamps, errant flashlights, etc. 😀.

The Rosette Nebula has a lot of moving parts. Tucked away inside is a small cluster, NGC 2244.

This is the exposure equivalent of just under 66 minutes. The cluster is surrounded by dust lanes, other nebulas and nebula stuff. Here is a slightly more brightened version:

edit: This is a bit more distant view for the Rosette Nebula (using the feet to zoom does work 😀).

This is the equivalent of a 19 minutes, 35 seconds exposure.

I second what Jerryy and Jorge said. A certain (very small) percentage of even the best products of even the best manufacturers can occasionally be faulty and when that happens, it gets talked about a lot. Happens also to every camera manufacturer. Everything in my signature (to borrow this way of putting it from Jorge) has been working perfectly well for years. Except for the X-T5 which is fairly recent obviously and which for its price is a no-brainer, I think. Go grab one and enjoy ! A lovely piece of kit. And post some photos for us to see. Cheers J&J !
