Does a slow card give me cropped files?

I used a slow card while shooting, I thought 16:9 was to blame..but all my files seemed cropped and looked different than what I’d shot. I remember shooting and turning off camera right after, does turning off the camera too quickly do this?..photos were cropped top way, some side ways..just looked ugly

It is almost certainly neither a slow card nor turning off the camera too quickly.

I don't think you can attach full size SOOC example files to this forum - but maybe a link to a dropbox example would be helpful.
