Worms for Breakfast

Mother robin feeding her 3 babies.  The nest was built on a low branch and I stood on a chair out of sight with my X-T1 and 55-200mm and waited for her to return every 10 minutes with a beak full of worms and bugs.  

 

They only stay in the nest for about 2 weeks and then they are gone.

Clamp your camera to the nearby branch and use a remote to trigger it. With nesting robins, you can easily go full scale studio, including strobes. Just make sure that your gear is poop resistant

I thought about that, but I was at someone's else's house and didn't have all my gear.
