Has Fujifilm Stopped Updating Older Cameras?

Has Fujifilm stopped updating the firmware for older (but not that old) cameras? I have an X-PRO2 and an X-E3, and there hasn't been FW updates in a long time  to either of these cameras, or any other cameras but the newest ones that have very recently come out. Last summer, Fujifilm added in-camera focus stacking to the X-T2, which is also now in the X-T3, but has not added that capability to the X-PRO2, even though in the past appropriate features that were added to the X-T2 had also been added to the X-PRO2 (and the X-PRO2 is still the current camera of it's type). So, is Fujifilm now ignoring any camera but its latest ones?
