Strange noise in photos

Hi guys

I just got my x t20 with 18-55 fuji lense and I have issues with really odd noise. Vertical lines everywhere appearing everywhere. I'm an amateur, just starting with mirror less but wondering where is the problem. Settings? Or camera? 

I tried many different settings, different Iso, everything. Still appears.

If not the strange pattern, the image would be clean (as if shot at low ISO). Definitely something wrong with the sensor.

The parallel lines you are seeing maybe the result of shooting with Electronic Shutter which can be affectect the pic in this way under artificial light. Try shooting with the mechanical shutter (set in the menu under shutter type) and hopefully it will solve the problem.

I tried in natural light too, and it's the same. I think I'll end up sending it back to fuji. Hopefully they will solve the problem or exchange it.

I had the same problem with my X-T20 in last June but after few pictures, the noise disappeared by itself. The problem reappeared last December . I send it back to Fuji in mid-December and i'm still waiting for a diagnostic and a decision from Fuji (Repair or exchange).

I had the same problem with my X-T20 last August. (Camera just 6 months old).

After speaking with Fuji, I sent it off to them. They replaced the sensor. No explanation though!
