Sizzling Fuji 80mm macro.Normal ?

Low level but constant noise when powered. Worls fine Switching OIS off doesen't change. Fault or normal for this lens?

I don’t have the 80 so I can’t tell you but I was going to ask the same question about my 18-55 - a very faint noise that is there no matter if the OIS switch is on or off and regardless of the OIS mode set in camera. This is on X-T2 with the latest firmware. What camera/firmware version do you have ?

Sound is a bit like old hard disk noise. Camera Fuji X-T2  Firmware  latest 4.20.

Apart from noise. Lens works fine as far as I can tell.

Liam, you are right, quite a few Fujinon lenses make a noise, the 18-55mm among their!
