16-55 2.8 Filter

Hi all, which filter do you guys use for the 16-55 2.8?

for all my fuji lenses (except for samyang fisheye) I use Fujifilm Protection filters, for 16-55 is 77mm PRF-77

I'd use hoya pro1 digital or HD depending on the use of the lens.

I don't use "protective" filters for 99% of my work.

But some conditions (ocean spray, flying sand and debris) require protection. Then I use B+W MRC glass (you'll need a 77mm for your 16-55).

I have always used UV filters

I use a Hoya Pro1 Digital Protector, they are a bit cheaper than UV filters. You don't need UV on digital cameras apparently so this is just pure glass protection.

 

The 16-55 is my only Fuji lens I use a filter on though as the glass feels quite exposed compared to say the 56mm where the hood makes it harder to get to the lens.
