Green focus cross remains in image

Still getting used to our new XQ2. We're getting it set up for a trip and the one thing I can't seem to fix is that all the images show the green focus cross in the center of the image. When I rotate the control ring to remove the image data from the shot the green cross remains. How do I remove it?

I don't know the XQ2, but it sounds like you have the camera in AF-C mode.

Johan, It does the same thing in all three focus modes - AF-C, AF-S and Manual focus. Must be something else. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Johan, I found it! Hit the Disp/Back button and select "Information Off" and it goes away!
