Hi.  Just received a new X-T10 for my wife and we had a lot of fun taking numerous test shots last night.  It didn't seem to matter which lens we were using (18-55 kit, 27 f2.8) but every once in awhile the focus frame selection screen would pop up.  My initial reaction was that we pressed a button by mistake, so browsing thru the manual, found that the button below the Menu/OK activates the focus frame selection screen.  So, we both tried avoiding it while adjusting our grip, but the screen would still pop up (not all the time though).  Once we made a selection, we can proceed with no problems. Would this screen pop up on its own like that, and if so, for what reason?

I'll be doing a firmware update later as I noticed it's still on firmware version 1.10.

thanks for any feedback.

Could be a software glitch... I had my XT-10 on the most recent firmware and didn't have this issue. Although I did get a bit sick of accidentally pressing buttons with my palm (and I only have small hands) so bit the bullet and purchased the horrendously overpriced Fuji Metal grip. It doesn't add much size/weight to the camera, but really does help to stop your hand pressing buttons whilst you work. Recommended!
