I have an XT3 that is having problems restoring settings from a backup and Fuji support says it's probably a failing capacitor that acts as a back up battery. They're wanting me to send it in for repair but not giving me any rough estimate of what replacing that capacitor would cost. Has anyone had this repair done recently or know the cost? I'd rather not pay to send it in only to learn the repair is prohibitively expensive. -

Similar situation here. I bought this beautiful XM-5 just a few months ago from Amazon.fr , and recently started noticing camera making random shots without me knowing about it. I mostly do a street photography, shooting primarily in a burst mode and in a silent shutter mode, selecting best shots afterwards on my computer. So when I unload images from the card I see a handful shots which were not supposed to be there. I'm not getting any jerky or digitized screen though, but sometimes all of a sudden the screen freezes and I'm just either turn camera off/on or remove the battery and putting it back. Sometimes it's really getting annoying, and I don't know how to fix this behavior. Any ideas? Thank you! -
Hi all, I’m aware that this is a common issue however my issues seem to be even more developed. The camera started to freeze and as other users found, the only way was to remove the battery. I have now upgraded to the newest firmware (2.12) but issues persist. As suggested I wanted to disconnect any paired bluetooth device but I CANNOT access the setup menu as the camera freezes. The first 4 menus are with a red strip on the right inside but the setup menu (wrench) is with blue stripes and as soon as you navigate to it freezes. See attached. Any advice? Hi I just got an XH2s mainly for the fast frames per second as I want to catch birds in flight. Great it shoots 40 frames per second but now after 10 minutes I have 120 Gb of files on the CFexpress card. I connected to my laptop with a usb 3.2 2x1 cable and it takes 3 hours 45 min to transfer? I've set "Card reader" in connection settings , am I missing something or is this what to expect? Should I just but a CFexpress card reader?
