To-day 10 Sept 2016 After a long wait I got my hands on it. I took a lens or 2 spare batteries and 2 memory cards. First switch on, my finger intuitively went to the new JOY stick to set the date. I couldn't help notice how much clearer the screen was compared to the XT1.  Bliss. So much talk has been around I had even printed the manual out 4 sheets/page and double sided made it all quite manageable Total manual size 380+ sheets. I hate manual but this camera is so much more sophisticated  the manual will be needed. However the contribution by more experienced users as published in this Forum are always welcome. Thanks please keep sending the quick guides.

My thanks to the Canadian friend for placing a link to the manual in other languages in reply to my question.  Was it a subtly message to read the manual more carefully? Or just old helpful. However I am a Brit abroad been in Thailand 13years. Hell I am getting old!!!!!!!!!!
