  1. I had both, but the IQ, colour, sharpness, almost everything seems to be better on the Fuji 35mm, so I ended up selling the Ziess 32mm for the new Fuji 23mm f2.0. Very happy since the 23mm is perfect for street photography and the 35mm for generally everything else. I'm not a big fan of Ziess lenses, since I owned a few before, for Nikon cameras and always ended up selling them. A better choice for 3rd party lenses for me is Voigtlander - not all their lenses but some of them are amazing, specially for Fuji. My opinion anyway.
  2. I have both but find myself using the 10-24 most of the time. More convenient, IQ is just as good, and there's something about 10mm that you'll never get with a 16mm. Attached are 2 photos taken around GasTown, Vancouver Canada. 10-24mm on my X-T10.
  3. I have the newer Nikon 16-80mm f/2.8-4E. It is amazing ! I wish fuji will make a similar lens for my X-T2. It's a very usable zoom-range for APS-C cameras and f2.8-4 is decent. With VR/OIS of course.
  4. While using the grip on my X-T2, do I have to insert 2 batteries in the grip ? Can it be one ? or None ? Not that important, just wondering. Grip is fairly large and heavy when 2 batteries are in there.
  5. I received mine this morning. Broadway Camera BC Canada. Got a call last night from sales that I can pick up my XT2 this morning,, which I did. Did some testing this afternoon - - so far so good. Quite happy.
  6. The release date, I believe, is Sept 8th. That's the date they might start shipping (from ??), assuming no further delays. I ordered mine from Broadway Cameras, Vancouver BC Canada, and they expect mid to late Sept before I actually get mine in the store. I'm in Canada, so B&H might get it a bit sooner I assume.
  7. Yes, very interested in this lens. Wonder when it'll be out ? Hope it's nice and small and with WR.
  8. They are different lens, both good and useful, depending on what you're shooting. I have both, and I do not really prefer one over the other. I think it's best to buy one, either one, and later if prices drop or if you can get a deal or a used one in good condition, then get the other. Assuming of course, you shoot quite a lot of photos requiring wide angle lenses. They both work good for landscape and street photography, but with a lightly different "feel" to the photos.
  9. I had the same problem the first day or two, the X-Pro2 keeps resetting itself, even without taking the battery out ! Somehow after setting again and again for about 3 or 4 times, the problem went away ! At least so far (1 week) it did not reset. I know from the beginning it's a software issue and Fujifilm will correct this. Let's hope so. So far I love this new camera.
