Thinking of 35mm film equivalent.

I want to use an Olympus Zuiko 100mm f/2.8 lens on my Fuji X-Pro2.

If I use a Fotodiox adapter, will the 35mm equivalent be 150mm?

If I use a Metabones Speed Booster Ultra (.71), will the 35mm equivalent be 71mm?

I'm asking because on my previous Olympus OM-D camera when I used an adapted Olympus Zuiko lens on it the focal length became two times. So the 100mm would act like a 200mm. If I used a Metabones Speed Booster Ultra, it would act like a 142mm (2 x .71 x focal length).

Thanks

Correct.

Wrong.

The 35mm equiv. will be 100mm x 0.71 x 1,5 = 106.5mm. The MB adapter makes the lens "wider" and increases the maximum aperture by 1 stop. So you will get a nice ~105mm f/2 lens.

Correct.

Wrong.

Thanks! I might get the Metabones Speed Booster Ultra then for my Olympus Zuikos. Plus the f-stop gets one stop faster!

21mm f/3.5 = 22.4 mm f/2.5

100mm f/2.8 = 106.5 mm f/2

135mm f/3.5 = 143.8 mm f/2.5
