Panning with 55-200

Hi,

 

Do you turn off the OIS when doing a panning with the 55-200?

 

On my old Nikon 70-300VR, I had two modes for VR; one made for panning.

 

I'm planning to shoot my father with its motorcycle, but I have not a lot of experience with panning photography.

I'd turn 55-200mm OIS off for such shots.
