Bought the 18f/2 a couple of weeks ago and noticed that the aperture ring on f/8 actually gives me f/7.1. I have go up to f/9 and then back to get to f/8.

Anyway, I returned it to the store where I bought it and they are going to send it to FUJIs nearest repair shop.

It's the only lens I have (so far), so I texted to Fuji on facebook and they replied that I could borrow the 18 f/2 while I wait for my copy to come back which made me happy.

Then it turns out that their copy has been dropped or something so it was fully functionin, and they asked me what other lens I wanted to borrow in the meanwhile, and I replied 35 f/2 or the 18-55 f/2.8 and they replied I could borrow both.

Very fast and helpful srvice I have to say. I am pleased.

Wow...that's very nice of them. Excellent.

How did you realize that your aperture was stuck? I must admit I've never really looked at my aperture in operation and always assumed that the lens was giving me correct aperture.

Wo, the 35 f/2 has a noticably faster AF than the 18. I don't find my X-Pro1 slow to be honest. I remember my x100s being way slower.

Only used it a cpl of minutes and I love this lens already. Perfect focal lenght for taking pics of my kid.
