Settings Xpro2 for backlight situations

Who is having experiences with settings on the Xpro2 with backlight situations? If you work with exposure comp, the background gets overexposed. Thanks for your help!

With subject dark and background bright, in my experience the best solution is the flash, with the camera exposing for background and flash lighting the subject (often I use flash in manual mode). Sometimes, if I don't like the result, I adjust exposure with compensation on camera setting and/or on flash.
