  1. I think one of main advantages is the AF improvement, mainly about AF-C settings. But let's wait for next X-Pro2 firmware update (2.0) coming in October that promises AF improvements.
  2. Under direct sun I often wear sunglasses and I see well with both EVF and OVF
  3. To send the camera to a Fuji repair could take more time, but I think you could get a better service and job.
  4. With subject dark and background bright, in my experience the best solution is the flash, with the camera exposing for background and flash lighting the subject (often I use flash in manual mode). Sometimes, if I don't like the result, I adjust exposure with compensation on camera setting and/or on flash.
  5. I have not sharp issue with 35 f2 on x-pro2; I often use 1/125ss or faster, with aperture priority mode and auto iso, and single focus point in S mode. For portrait I use ERF o EVF.
  6. I have a cheap, no brand, manual trigger, with only hot shoe contact, and it works good
  7. Because of you coming from a DLSR like D810, so I'd waiting until X-t2 coming out, and then you will can compare two camera. At least you'll wait for about two or three months.
  8. I tell you my experience. This morning I've not anything to do, so I tried to see battery life in high performance with 35 f/2, at about 22 celsius degree I have at my home (CIPA would tell 23), only EVF, P mode, RAW+JPG, 20% shoot with flash (Nissin i40), turni on/off every 10 shoot, and auto ISO. I shoot only 100 frames, then I've interpolated the result (so it can be little imprecise). I followed (almost) the CIPA standard and got 238 shoot (manual reports 210 in such conditions, with 35 1.4), and at the end the camera was only slightly warm, similar when I used Nikon D750 in livewiew.
  9. Only a suggestion: maybe would be useful open a tread with issues concerning camera with 1.01 firmware, where to report issues noticed after this update
  10. I often use OVF, but I use EVF or ERF when I needs to focus in small details, to check exposure preview in some scene, or to check film simulations. I think I use 60/70% OVF, then EVF or ERF.
  11. Fujirumors today says that a firmware upate seems to be cooming, so let's hope.
  12. So I've understood that you leave a day a full battery before use first time the camera: but, during this time, do you simply leave the camera off, or on? Thanks Andrea
  13. In their web site, Fuji, write that the x-pro2 have 77 AF point to select: I suppose on EVF mode. And on OVF, how many AF point can we use?
  14. It sounds good, thank you. By the way, in your experience, how does perform the correction of the parallax error in OVF: is it quite fast and accurate? Thanks in advance. Andrea
  15. How does EVF mode work with eye sensor when you leave eyes from viewfinder? Do the back LCD stay On, or can you set the camera to save battery and only access LCD by button? Thanks, Andrea
