Can any one help please... i have a Pergear 25mm lens stuck half way on my Fuji X-E1... i haven't turned the lens all the on for fear of never getting it off.

i've tried with all my might to get it off and it will not budge.

Should i try and fix it all the way on and hope for the best when i release it and try to take it off...

Very worried i might break the camera... Can anyone please help?

Thank you.

Just manged to get it off, unfortunately forcefully... After an hour of trying to fathom it out, searching google, YouTube and chat rooms... However the seller of this Pergear 25mm lens tells me that these lenses are a tight fit... Has anyone else heard of this? Thank you.

    • Hi, I make videos for my full time work and for pleasure. I record videos with the X-S10 internally (8-bit, so no Log) and no external monitor, using the Eterna film simulation with DR set to 400 for maximum dynamic range, Continuous AF (or Single AF for static shots) and I edit in Adobe Premiere Pro. I usually shoot on tripods or hand held. Here is an example of my work, shot on X-S10, hand holding the unstabilized Fujinon XF 16-55 f/2.8 and XF 50 f/2.0 lenses. What do you think? Do let me know if you have any questions.
    • Hi, I am Nikolai, a self taught hybrid shooter from Norway with a background in arts and graphic design, and I work for the City of Oslo (the photo on the front page is by me, as of March 22, 2023). I deliver a wide arrange of photography and video. I document the city, city life and its inhabitants, but also anything shoot from portraiture and corporate head shots to interior photography and even food photography (I made a cook book for internal communication purposes). Attached is an example of a bus ad, 2.5 meters tall. It was so sharp, you could read the logo on the shirt! The videos I do are mainly for social media and are basically presentations or information for the public or staff, interviews and documentary style stuff for showcasing our projects. This is an example of street interviews I did during the pandemic: https://www.facebook.com/Oslo/videos/149919900421495 I use the X-S10 with the Fujinon xF 16-55 f/2.8 and Fujinon XF 50-140 f/2.8. I record videos internally (8-bit, so no Log), using the Eterna profile with DR set to 400 for maximum dynamic range when needed, and find it more than good enough for my needs. I edit in Adobe Premiere Pro. I sometimes help friends out with music videos and photography too. Below is an example of a video shot hand held with the X-S10 and the unstabilized 16-55 f/2.8 and 50 f/2.0 lenses. What do you think?

    • From YouTube's own specifications:
    • I have tried a bunch of small/portable/affordable lights, but I feel they are never powerful enough. I wish I bought some more powerful lights from the beginning, instead of setting up a whole array of smaller lights that never seem adequate. I am currently using two Godox LED500LRC and three Aputure HR672C's, but I wish they were stronger (and softer!). My daylight-only version of the HR672 is much stronger. The best on-camera light I could find (at the time, some time ago) was Aputure's F7. So my recommendation is to get something more powerful than you might think, or multiple lights.
    • I use Premiere Pro, and I am happy with it, but it has some quirks and bugs and annoying preset resets from time to time. If I had the time and patience to start over with video software, I'd go for DaVinci Resolve, but I've used Adobe's products for decades, and it is what I am used to using.
