Good morning,

I have an Xe-1. Waiting for XT-2.

The Xe-1 sensor is 16 x 24  or a total  surface of 384mm.

In the Hasselblad H5d-40, the sensor (MF)  is 43 x 32 or 1376mm

The Hassy is thus 3.58 times the size of the Fuji Xe-1 but

the pixel count is only 40Mp  for the Hassy.

If we compare , there is a shortage of 18MP in the Hassy.

Question:

Which one has better IQ.?

Regards

Horsie has better pixel IQ.

Horsie H5D-40 has 6um pixels.

X-E1 has 4.8um pixel size.

Larger pixels with better light gathering properties per pixel.

Less density means better heat dissipation.

Bit depth on the horsie is better.

Excellent sharpness and detail....
