Hi. I have access to a like new XT1 for $899. I currently use the XE1. Or wait for XT10 for $100 less.

Thanks

The X-T1 is objectively the better camera. For that little of a price difference, there's no major reason to not get it. Bigger EVF, full dial layout, weather sealing.
However, there are a couple of small points in favour of the X-T10: "like new" suggests the X-T1 is used, so I would assume that does not come with a warranty, whereas a new X-T10 will; the battery life of the X-T10 seems to be very slightly better; if you trade in or sell your X-E1, that + the extra $100 would probably be enough to buy you another lens, if you fancy it.

Double-check the X-T1 really is "like new" and make your decision from there. If it really is as good as new, I think this is a no-brainer.

One thing I would like to throw in, not for OP obviously but in general.

The X-T1 dials and controls are quite foreign if you are a Canikon shooter, so while missing a metering dial, you get that PASM dial on the X-T10 which can be good if you are one to feel lost without it.

    • I can't find a solution to get HSS working on my GFX 100 II. I'm using Elinchrom Five flashes with the transmitter pro for Fujifilm. Both are supposed to support HSS, and everything works fine on my Canon R5 (with the transmitter pro for Canon). With the GFX 100 II, I can't figure out how to fix the issue of the shutter curtain being visible above 1/125s. I'm using the latest firmware versions for all equipment. I've tried the shutter modes EF, M+E, and EF+E. I've also set the flash mode to manual and to Auto FP (HSS), but nothing works. Has anyone else experienced this issue and found a solution?

    • You may have to be a little more patient. There are some recipe users stopping by now and then and some X-T50 film sim dial fans that stop by now and then as well. Hopefully, one of them will be able to help you. p.s. Welcome to the forum.
    • Patric    I have a Four By FIve mono rail Sinar Norma. When I bougt my Fuji 50R,  I bought a digital back for my Norma with mount that attaches to the lens mount on the fuji. I have no yet used it but I think it holds some interesting promise. If I rembemer it was listed on the Fuji website..... hope this helps you.... Jim
    • This is probably very obvious, but I am a little confused! -  Presumably, when using the film simulation dial on the X-T50, the Custom Settings need to be set  at 'Nothing Serlected@' Is this correct?   Thank you
