To Fujifilm Devs,

please direct me to the right thread. Not sure how to submit suggestions like these.

We all know that the x-pro2 omitted panorama for the shooting modes.

Please bring it back but with a more advance feature of a free reign brenizer method style panorama. something that doesn't limit the direction of where the images are shot.

locking the autofocus, auto iso and auto exposure.

with the new quad core processor, I'm sure we could harness it to process the multiple images as a stitch in camera as a jpeg. final image result doesn't have to be that high of a resolution. Maybe when in this mode the camera only takes jpegs in lower resolutions to perform the final stitch that equals the final 24mp resolution.

with something innovative and revolutionary like this, I'm sure it will even beat medium format image quality with a good lens like the 90mm f2.

A good bokeh panorama mode. Anyone with me on this? Or this this still not technically feasible?

cheers!

Brenizer is quite different from a typical horizontal or vertical panorama

Are you asking for a "Brenizer algorithm" to be included in the X-Pro2, so that the camera creates a final JPEG version from X number of exposures?

If this is the case, I don't see it happening. It would require a lot of processing power to do and very often would result in non-optimal results. In my opinion there is no problem making Brenizer type pictures using Photoshop.

If you mean something else, please explain.

yeah i guess that kinda processing power is tough to get in camera. But it sure would be nice to have. But whenever i take shots like these, it sure would be nice to show clients immediately the effect for the final comp even if its a quick one. Maybe an ios app might be able to do that better?
