Has anyone else out there had to deal with Fuji customer service or repair through Fuji in New Jersey? So far it's been an ordeal. Currently listening to bad music, wait time 15 minutes so far after navigating options #1, #9, #2 & #3 and rerunning the hard to understand message. I have a VERY light use 2 year old 90mm F2 that developed the well known "Turn the camera off and on again" error message - enabling the $1000 lens unusable. Sent it into fuji repair, no email update other than one with a link that didn't work or tell me anything. UPDATE: someone answered the phone! The cost of repair is $414.09!!!! I don't know, but as a pro photographer in deep with Fuji to the tune of 3 bodies and a cabinet of Fuji glass, this has me questioning my loyalty. Sorry to be so negative - my experience up until a few weeks using Fuji gear has been very, very good.

I'm very sorry you are experiencing these issues.  I've dealt with Fuji Edison (NJ) going back to 2005 and have always been treated very well with no issues.  I've had my Finepix S1Pro, S2Pro, S5Pro's serviced and repaired there literally by dropping them off (in on instance on a Thursday for a bad sensor) and picked it up Tuesday morning...  This has been one of the many reasons I've stuck with Fuji.  Damn--- I hope they haven't gone downhill --- last time I talked with them was about six months ago when I had a question I had about my 50r which they answered right on the phone.

Please keep us appraised.  Back to your lens:  Wouldn't the repair be covered under warranty?
