Video quality xpro2/xt-2

Hi all

 

How well do you think Fuji will implement 4K video into the up and coming xpro2 and x-t2?

 

I am personally all for Fuji developing solid video performance in their lineup, as many of the features help with stills also (fast sensor read out, faster processing and focussing etc etc).

 

If so what would you guys want?

 

I would want:

 

Quality in the realm of the Sony rx100 v4 to the gh4.

A flat log profile to maximise dynamic range.

100mbps recording at a minimum

A decent codec (h.265 with the new sensor etc?)

Solid autofocus performance

 

Let us tell Fuji what we would like!

I would love great video, but would be bummed if they took any resources away from perfecting the stills experience.

I think there was an interview where it was said, that they are working to improve it (dramatically), but don't consider themselves as major player in the video market.

 

So I guess GH4 with log standard is out of the question.

 

And recent votes (for example on dpreview) showed, that most Fuji photographers don't really care about video.

 

 

So I'd say they will improve it (mostly thanks to a new processor), but it will not be top notch.

I don't care about video really.  I'd much rather them keep these as they are, just improve what needs improving.
