X-T4 firmware update 1.21 - possibly with bug

The firmware update 1.21 causes a problem with my camera. Whenever I start the camera it takes at least 10 seconds until it reacts on pressing the MENU-button.

Does anybody else share this experience?

my problem has been fixed - it was the activated "clarity" option

 

my X-T4 takes a long blackout to store the photo.
(think 2 seconds).
Did the firmware upgrade (to 1.21) today through the "cam remote" app.
compared it with my x-h1 ... no problem.
tried some different sd-cards... always the same.

the problem with the menu-botton - i can't reproduce

but only in single shoot mode..
not so in CL or CH..

There are reported issues with the firmware affecting cameras in various ways since the update.

Yes my Xt4 since the new update 1.21 is freezing up, going dark. Not responding sometimes when turning on or after a few minutes freezing up. I have to turn it off then take out the battery then it will work for a little while longer before going dark and freezing up again. I’ve also noticed that some photos aren’t saved to my RAW SD card but will show up in the SD card I have set up for jpegs. Taking a photo and then trying to view it, zoom in then exit will also make the camera freeze up again

Fujifilm have pulled the update today.

 

The issue is with bluetooth pairing.

Hallo, the German support hotline could solve my problem of the reaction delay after power on.

The reaseon was that I did not properly format the SD-card with the update file. I only deleted it.

Hi, I updated my xt-4 firmware this morning and now my camera takes pictures by itself. ??? I’ll be holding it while it’s on and the shutter will go off on it’s own without me touching any buttons…. Anyone else??

After updating to the firmware fix 1.22 through the app again after I reconnected the Bluetooth pairing my XT4 has been working great. No problems now.
