Hi there!

On my X100V (Firmware V2.00) - using the OVF mainly - I noticed 2 differences between OVF vs. EVF/LCD:

  • First, when setting the front command dial to SS (Program Shift) - it doesn't shift the SS/Aperture combination in OVF. It does correctly in EVF/LCD.
  • Second, when using face recognition, it doesn't do so in OVF when AF is set to 'Zone' (maybe others too - but that's how I use it the most), but again it does correctly in EVF/LCD.

Any tips/suggestions welcome!

Many thanks,

L.

On my X100V, if I set the front dial to Program Shift, it works even in OVF mode. You need to select the full auto aperture mode (lens aperture set to A, then choose F from the front dial, move it all the way to the right).

Face Detection is not compatible with the OVF to the best of my knowledge.
