  1. So...I don't know if anyone has tried using the set up>screen set-up>EVF COLOR or LCD COLOR settings in the X-Pro2. They can be adjusted in the range of +/-5 units, and they may affect the warm/cool appearance. I see some difference, but I have not tried to mess with it until this very moment.
  2. Mine becomes warm after about 30 minutes of shooting. I have the MHG grip, which seems to help keep the temperature down. I haven't noticed any problems caused by this. BTW, my XT-1 did this also, just not as hot. For the record, I had this issue with my old Nikons (D300, D700) during event shooting - just not as noticeable. Obviously this is going to be due to the batteries/processors/screen/sensor/shutter generating heat. A lot of cameras use the mass of the body as a heat sink, so I guess with smaller less massive cameras you will get more warming - especially if you use the EVF and back display....
  3. When I first received my X-T1, the door worked just fine. Then I had my camera worked on for the dreaded light leak problem that affected a number of the early cameras, including mine. When I got it back, the door bows like the ones mentioned above. My current solution is to take a piece of black gaffers tape and tape it down, which works fairly well. I have looked into a possible DIY solution and I am considering trimming the inner door seal on the bottom and see if that helps. I have owned several Nikons (D80, D300, D700) that have experienced similar problems with the exterior rubber coating apparently slipping, swelling, and not fitting over time, so this is not a problem exclusive to Fuji As far as water resistance goes, I have already used the camera in its current condition through several downpours and have had no problems. Short of dunking the camera in water (which I would imagine would get in the works regardless of the condition of the side door seal), I don't see a problem.
  4. I have gotten twice with version 3.00 firmware, not sure why this happened. In both cases I was shooting and quickly changing settings on the camera - I turned it off and back on in both cases. The second time it happened I lost an image on the SD card - which I then replaced with a spare. No problems since. I must say that the message gives NO indication as to what the problem is (quite frustrating).....
  5. I would go with the XT1. Last week I was shooting outdoors for three days in moderate rain (tropical depression) with the XT1 and the XF 16-55. I had to stop frequently to wipe off the rear screen and front lens element, but I had no problem shooting.
