The only way I could obtain this is if my shutter is not able to cope with my settings. For example if I shoot at f 1.4 or 2 and a high iso value while the light requires a higher shutter speed than my shutter setting is. Normally when not shooting manually I have my shutter set at MS+ES and quite often the shutter speed the camera sets is is higher than the mechanical shutter can go. Can't think of anything else

X-Pro2 eyecup replacement
archidss replied to TSmith's topic in Fuji X-Pro 1 / Fuji X-Pro 2 / Fuji X-Pro 3
I sent my x-pro2 to fuji through my dealer and they replaced it at no charge and did say that the whole assembly was replaced as the glued part is part of the water resistent system. -

I had this problem on my iMac when running High Sierra, but after updating to Mojave it works ok but extremely slowly and the results I get on RAF files are much better and extremely fast in Capture One 20 The only reason I use Lightroom Classic is for the print and book modules

Bought an x-pro3, want an x100v
archidss replied to Lagigia's topic in Fuji X-Pro 1 / Fuji X-Pro 2 / Fuji X-Pro 3
I have a X-PRO3 and would not part with it and the advantage of being able to use other lenses than the 23mm which is my most used field of view as it was on my Leica M9. I would most certainly never replace it with with the X100V for the only advantage of thr smaller size (the X- PRO3 osn't all that big) I just might submit to the temptation of getting a X100V nest to the X-PRO3, but fear it will all too often be left behind and taking 2 bodies on a trip is for me a no go -
Dust behind X-Pro2 sensor filter glass
archidss replied to Luke Blair's topic in Fuji X-Pro 1 / Fuji X-Pro 2 / Fuji X-Pro 3
I have had this problem with 2 fuji bodies straight out of the box.. You can not have done this yourself as the sealing is pretty good. In both cases it was done in manufacturing and Fuji replaced both bodies at no cost. -

Fuji Xpro3 Freezes
archidss replied to eavesphoto's topic in Fuji X-Pro 1 / Fuji X-Pro 2 / Fuji X-Pro 3
I have been shooting with 2 different x-pro3 bodies for a couple of weeks and have had no freeze ups at all Many different lenses, but not the 16mm 1.4. Have you tried an other lens and card? -
Capture One Problem to convert to DNG
archidss replied to qwertz7's topic in RAW Conversion Fuji X Photos
I have a workflow which uses Lightroom as my DAM and Capture One 10 as the developer of my RAF (or any other RAW file in the Lightroom catalog) and after developing back to Lightroom via the Sessio's output folder I have created a Capture One session called "From Lightroom" In my Lightroom Library I can choose one or more files, RAF or others and export them as originals to the Capture Folder of the Capture One Session using a key shortcut. The export settings also include opening Capture One. After developing in Capture One I process them as Tif or jpeg to the Output Folder and in Lightroom import the new ones into the lightroom using the Session Output folder in my Lightroom Library. -

archidss replied to fleckintosh's topic in RAW Conversion Fuji X Photos
When I downloaded the latest profiles they looked like this: FujiXT1-1. Provia (X-Pro2).icm. to have them recognized in C1 10PRO on my Mac running OS X 10.11.6 I had to correct them to: FujiXT1-Provia (X-Pro2).icm- 111 replies

Capture One Pro 9 Film Simulations incl. ACROS
archidss replied to fleckintosh's topic in RAW Conversion Fuji X Photos
I install the profiles in a different way (have done this since they first came out) In applications I choose Capture One (now version 10Pro) and in the large alias right click and choose "show package contents" then go to the input profiles folder using the path: contents/frameworks/AppCore.framework/Resources/Profiles/input and copy them to this input folder. The Profiles must be in the correct format otherwise Capture One will not recognize them. Cleaned up of extra information. I am uploading a few as examples When they are inserted in this way they show up for the specific camera along with the generic profile for that camera in the dropdown menu- 111 replies
