I've been mulling over which filter system to get. Currently, I'm looking at Cokin and Lee kits and would like to hear your recommendations. I'll be using these filters for general cityscape, landscape and sunset photography. I only own a couple of Hoya screw-in filters (polorize & ND8) and I'm beginning to see a need for more. Thus, I think it's time for me to seriously consider a system. I use the X-T1, so a filter system made especially for mirror-less cameras are an obvious plus (no point in lugging around huge glass filters made for DSLRs). I'm kinda leaning towards the Seven5 system, but getting your feedback is valuable nevertheless. Thanks in advance.

A challenging dilemma which ultimately YOU have to decide. A lot of great points in this thread, but for me, I would go for the X-T1. My reason being it's FUJI's top dog and complete in term's of function. Sure, you spend less on the light version (X-T10) but you're losing out on some of the things that makes the X-T1 magic. Alas, good luck with your final decision.

I made a HUGE mistake sacrificing my passion for photography to the one I loved (we broke up after 7 yrs). I should of fought harder for it. Now that I'm single, photography is my new girl! But during those seven years....I think I would of been a much better photographer sooner had I stuck to my guns. If this is what you LOVE to do, find a way to co-exist and you'll be a lot more fulfilled in the long run.

Hi FUJI shooters! I'm Toon hailing from Bangkok, Thailand. I switched from an avid/loyal Canon fanboy to a realistic FUJI user. Everything about the Fuji system was just right for me, and I've never looked back. Sadly, there's not a lot of active Fuji users in my city. But that's ok, cause we're all here under one umbrella. I'm currently using the X-T1 black addition along with the 14mm, 23mm, 35mm, and 18-55mm. More lenses to come in the future! Thanks for pointing out the limitations of the APD lens. I'm rarely at f1.4 so it makes more sense for me to avoid that extra cost for the lens. Something for me to think about more. Cheers!

Hi Guys, I've been saving up for the XF56 for a while now (eyeing the APD) and all of a sudden FUJI decides to throw in a curve by teasing the XF90. I'm at a crossroads and need your thoughts on what lens to buy first. I'll be using it predominately for portraits. Thanks for all your thoughts in advance.

Yes yes yes...buy the lens that fit your work/photographic needs. We all know this, but it doesn't stop us photographers from salivating over other lenses that we might not actually 'need' but rather 'want' for some reason or another. I have this problem and I will eventually find the means/reason to buy them lol. In the meanwhile, here's my wishlist... 1. XF16-55 F2.8 R LM WR (want to sell of the XF 18-55 for this) 2. XF50-140 F2.8 R LM OIS WR 3. XF56 F1.2R APD 4. XF10-24 F4 R OIS (pls Fuji...make a WR version for this lens....pls) What are some of yours?

For daily use: 1. Billingham Hadley Pro : 3 Lens + Body + Accessories + Ipad + Thermos (daily commuting) 2. F Stop Millar : 3 Lens + Body + Accessories + Small Thermos (for sketchy neighborhoods) For Hiking/Camping: 1. Lowepro Flipside 15L : 4 lens + Body + Accessories + Tripod ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This setup works for me because I like everything in one bag. Plus, they are all water proof. I don't shy away from rain so the bags needs to keep the water out...for awhile at least. Btw - body is X-T1
