  1. Thanks x-tc. I try to do my best. Same with me. It is always great to go on photo shootings with the locals. As you say, they know the best places. By the way, that goes for anybody coming to visit Germany. Well especially somewhere around Stuttgart. Drop a PM and I´ll see what I can do.
  2. As I live in Germany I can say that the 10-24 would be the better choice. You have a more versatile focal range and the awesome OIS. That and the high ISO capability of the X-T1 and you are set. Where exactly are you going to be heading? You can PM me if you wish. Maybe we can meet up if you are in my area.
  3. Thanks for the positiv comment. I wrote up a little blogpost on www.stockografie.de about the trip there. You can also take the direct link http://stockografie.de/stockografie-the-x100t-and-marrakesh/ Yes, the locals can actually get quite aggressive if you take a shot of them and they don´t want it. I had one incident where I took a shot of the whole seen and one guy thought I was taking his picture. He was actually only about 1cm of the whole shot. He shouted at me and did some wild gestures. I just said that he was not on the photograph and walked away. The best thing would have been to show him the shot and delete it if necessary. But he was so rude that I felt quit offended. It´s a give and take situation with street photography.

  9. I have the grip in use with my X100T. Not all the time though. What is great about it is that it has an Arca compatible bottom. Meaning that I can easily mount it on my tripod if needed. It does add a little in hight to the camera. The grip itself does improve the handling very well. The additional weight is not noticed by much.
