  1. Would be nice if at least the X-Pro2 had it.
  2. I like the sound, too. It's kind of classy.
  3. I really want a 33mmF1.
  4. My First Look is finally ready: https://fujixsecrets.wordpress.com/2016/01/16/first-look-fujifilm-x-pro2/
  5. Sounds like a good strategy of Fuji Japan not to tell them anything, seeing how enthusiastically Fujifilm Turkey seems to spread such information.
  6. It will only get 271.
  7. Flash should be all about firmware on the camera side. New and better hardware is required on the flash side of things, of course.
  8. LOL! That's ironic.
  9. I'm happy for you. It's a pity though that you appear to be incapable of accepting that I know stuff that you obviously don't.
  10. Only the Japanese fiscal year is relevant for sales targets. And I certainly won't comment on Fujifilm UK in public.
  11. The fiscal year for the Fujifilm Corporation ends on 31MAR. This is the reason for discounts around the globe. So it's always smart to wait till after christmas, if that's possible.
  12. Hefty discounts in the 1st quarter are the norm, as sales targets have to be met before the end of the fiscal year in March.
  13. Who knows? We'll see if/when an X-A3 has been announced.
  14. One can speculate that a revamped version is like the "II" versions of the XC zooms which were mostly created because some parts of the "I" series weren't available anymore (which would create a service problem in the future). Same same, but different. Just like no reasonable user of the "I" series XC zooms would "upgrade" to the "II" series outside of a cheap "kit deal", nobody expects existing X-E2 users to upgrade to what the rumor mill has been describing as the "X-E2S". It may be a different story for new customers, but I reckon that at least the smart shoppers would rather try to get a discounted X-E2 with current v4 firmware than a more expensive "X-E2S". Then again, not every customer is smart, and some always want the latest version, even if it costs more. It could well be that the rumored "X-E2S" is simply a means to keep the X-E line readily available for at least another year. Not many people are buying this form factor (as opposed to the much larger X-T1 and X-T10 crowd), so it's a niche within a niche, but I faintly remember Fuji making a promise to keep the X-E line alive for those who are into it, so maybe this is just their way of keeping this promise w/o investing much money and resources.
  15. I'm confident that the X-A3 will still use Bayer.
  16. Without a Hello Kitty version, this camera will miserably fail.
  17. Using ISO dials from the 70s is hardly innovation.
  18. Quite an uplifting conversation.
  19. Possibly. Maybe they were under the misguided impression that their customers were normal, reasonable people.
  20. Sell-off? Super discounts? See X-Pro1...
  21. Nope. There's a major difference. The XQ1 never got the XQ2's firmware. At least mine didn't. Did yours?
  22. RER only works with active FD, is it is described in the manual and my books. However, not being able to turn RER off in RAW only mode (when FD is active, of course) is a bug in my view, but I bet Fuji somehow sees it as a weird feature. For the time being, shoot FINE+RAW. That's what everybody is supposed to do, anyway.
  23. For sure. Somewhere beyond ISO 1600, IIRC.
  24. Sounds like Fuji found themselves a customer!
  25. You'll know soon enough.
