  1. No I have not experienced the issue you are having unless I have focused wrongly
  2. You can read through all the forums and find every Fujifilm lens is not sharp or every Fujifilm lens is the best thing since sliced bread you need to make your own decisions, hire your preferred choice my your own mind up.
  3. Had my XT5 since launch a total joy to use
  4. On the vi Fujifilm did make some very minor changes to the lens my square hood doesn’t quite fit a snugly as it did on my v square hood have redesigned their hood it was about a 1mm gap don’t know it that might be part of the issue your having
  5. I’d pick up the very underrated 50mm f2 fast focus and sharp.
  6. I know it’s to to everyone taste but Infinity are selling the WR lens for £572 but it is a grey import
  7. There are two versions of this lens WR and non WR which might be the reason for the price difference
  8. That’s definitely not the case with my 150-600 I know it might be a stupid question but what are you trying to photograph?
  9. I’d download the manual to your phone then you can always access it face detection is on page 151
  10. There are many threads on this subject but to answer you question, yes it is normal.
  11. I had the opportunity to hire an x100v for two days with no charge something Fuji uk offers which is great. I was I bit concerned about the missing d pad as I use an XT3. The camera did get warm as I played around setting it up but in my two days of constant shooting I had no issues (don’t shoot video) and as for the missing d pad didn’t miss it at all. a great little camera
  12. So that’s a huge topic but your starting with a great camera and lens. your biggest resource is YouTube then there’s books and podcasts so for setting up your xt30 I’d take a look at Omar Gonzalez Photography his channel is full of useful information regarding Fuji cameras and how to set them up. Then for videos to watch on street photography Gareth Danks, Nick Turpin and Roman Fox are all well worth a watch as for Podcasts the best is Fujicast so entertaining https://www.fujicast.co.uk/
