Hi folks,
Thanks for welcoming me to the forum. I switched from Canon full-frame fare a year or so ago, when an X100V stole my heart (and most of the contents of my wallet). I've since sold all of my Canon gear and have purchased an X-T5 with the 16-80 zoom.
I'm now on the hunt for something wider for the dramatic landscapes here on the west cost of Scotland, and I'm considering the 10-24 (WR version - for obvious reasons - Scotland).
I've noted on Amazon.co.uk that there seem to be wildly different prices for the same lens (new), ranging from £775 this morning (now £800 this evening), to £894. The only difference appears to be the part numbers 16666753 for the cheaper model and 16666791 for the more expensive one. Both are significantly cheaper than the £949 at mainstream photography gear outlets, both appear to be the 'mark ii' variant. Can anyone explain this difference in model numbers to me?
Many thanks - this place looks like fun!
