  4. Hello all! Usually, after a shooting session I'm quite satisfied about my reportage. Today I had the possibility to follow anche off-road exploation in Calabria, in south of Italy. Here some photos of the total reportage. Do you have suggestions for me? Please, tell me everything. Best, Matt Inviato dal mio ALE-L21 utilizzando Tapatalk
  5. @Aswald, I agree with you, for a quite similar aperture we have a long focal lenght and an interesting minimum distance for focusing. But I had had it and I don't like it so much. I hope to find a really large aperture and a wonderfull creamy bokeh.. Inviato dal mio ALE-L21 utilizzando Tapatalk

  7. @Milandro, the problem of feeling is not for the hood, it is only due to the produced images. Fuji lenses produce "cold portrait".. let me say, I don't like so much the ratio between focused and defocused area. At the moment I have only the 35mm 1.4 lens because for my use of this object it could bè suitable for my standard. At the moment I use for great part of my portraits a samyang 85mm 1.4.. amazing!! You can see an example in the devoted area in the forum updated some minutes ago.. Inviato dal mio ALE-L21 utilizzando Tapatalk

  12. First of all, thank you very much for your suggestion. @qiki, about the new 50mm Fuji I'm sure it is a new wonderfull lens but and also the price is good compared with other lenses but too High for a 50mm, that's my opinion. In this way, spending an half of the total price, I can buy the Nikon 50 1.4 afs G.. but as I told you before, I prefer a longer focal lenght. @Adam, the suggested konica 57mm looks interesting and prices on ebay are cheap. I will try to find it. @Milandro, the 60mm is a good lens and I bought it with my xt1 and a 35mm 1.4.. but I had not a good feeling with this lens.. @tikcus, about the suggestion of neewer 50mm, the price is absolutely perfect but I'm not sure about the lens quality.. I will find informations and examples on internet! Thank you very much for everything. Inviato dal mio ALE-L21 utilizzando Tapatalk

  14. I suggest you to buy only the 16mm. You have lenses that cover all possible focal lenght, plus two wonderfull prime lenses. Now, for your list, there is only an hole for Wide angle prime lens and the 16mm is the best.
  15. It is not a real problem.. if you have bot problema for the cost.. buy the 56!!
  16. Teo totally differenti lenses. For my personal style I really don't like equivalente 24-70 lenses. This is really helpful for wedding reportages but I used it only for this scope.. and so it is a useless lens for my style. Also the 18-135 is not One of my favourite lens.. but for a trip could bè a good idea to use a single lens without the necessity to change lenses for different shoot.. If you have two cameras, 18-135 for the first and a good prime lens fixed in the second camera is the best way!!
  17. Hello all! I'm looking for a cheap prime lens with focal lenght between 50mm and 60mm for portrait on my Fuji xt1. I tried to adapt Nikon 50mm, ai series and also d series, but I do not like it so much. I hope to find a good lens (no vintage like helios lenses) with a creamy bokeh.. what do you suggest? Thank you, Matt
  18. Hello all! My name is Matt and I'm a photographer from more or less 6 years. After 4 years with Nikon reflex and due also to a lot of problems with my work, I bought a Fuji xt1. For a personal choice, I decided to use only manual focus, fixed focal lens. In particular Samyang lenses 12mm f2, 16mm f2, 21mm f1.4, 85mm 1.4, 100mm f2.8. at the moment I sold the 16mm and 100mm with the goal to buy a 50mm lens but I'm already looking for it (any suggestions Will be appreciate). Next time I will upload some of my picture and I Hope to start a good feeling with you all. Best, Matt
  19. Samyang 85mm f1.4 is anche amazing lens. It is cheap, with a really high aperture and also easy to use. Bokeh is sweet, colours are creamous and the focused area is really well defined. Otherwise, construction is not perfect. After less than 18 months, my ring of diaphragm was broken and now I can use it only between 1.4 and 2.8..
  20. It is too big for a Fuji, I guess. I used it for long times especially for portrait and results looks really good, it is a wonderfull lens, but really really big and heavy.
