As usual the Adobe updater is causing problems, but looking forward to this one! I had recently worked on some of my friends Sony A7S shots in Lightroom and it loads them so much quicker and also applies metadata changes (save to file and read from file) 3-4X faster than on my XT1 files. For time-lapse shots I'm often applying changes across 400-900 files so any sort of speed up is welcome. I'll follow up in this thread once I've had a chance to play around after the update.

I've noticed if I have the exposure preview (can't remember the exact name of the feature and don't have my XT-1 handy) on flicker essentially goes away since the aperture is fixed at that point instead of stopping down for each shot.

I'd love to see a 10mm or 12mm f/2 WR lens with focus clutch that is no bigger than the 23mm 1.4. Next would be a 400mm F/4 WR OIS. These would round out my set along with the upcoming 35mm f/2 WR.

Pretty sure I read in an interview with someone from Fuji that once they get the current roadmap more or less completed they'd potentially start working on niche lenses like fisheyes - I'll reply if I can find the source later. 23 F1.4 / 35 F2 WR / 56 F1.2 I already have the 23 and 56, just waiting for the new 35 to come out this fall. The 35mm focal length to me is less preferred most of the time to the 23mm, but would give me a weather resistant compact "normal" prime which I am very much in need of. If a 23mm f2 WR were to come out I may move to 16 F1.4, 23mm F2 WR, 56mm 1.2.

Yea and the 27mm 2.8 technically is priced at $449 even though its often had for $299-399.

I much prefer primes to zooms and don't like to have a ton of lenses to choose from (I did that with Nikon). I find that I travel much lighter now and take stronger images shooting with my current set of 2 primes (23mm f/1.4 and 56mm f/1.2) and my XT-1. My current wishlist is just the 35mm f2 WR. I mostly want this for its size and WR properties as I want a lens I can pair with the XT-1 in all weather to take hiking/fishing/hunting etc - places where I know it's going to get dirty. If a 23mm f/2 WR came out and it was the same size as the 35 f/2 I would likely sell the 23 f/1.4 and 35 f/2 as I much prefer the 23mm focal length on APSC and don't mind giving up some speed as long as that lens was superb wide open. Eventually I could see getting the 100-400, but will likely wait to see if something like a 300mm f/4 OIS WR lens comes out instead (along with the 1.4x TC). I'd also like a wide angle at some point, but don't have enough of a need for one currently to justify it (a 14mm f/2 WR no larger than the 23mm f/1.4 would probably push me over the edge though).

+1 - I think one of these two options make the most sense given the context - thinking medium format...

Anyone have a guess on the price for this lens? Trying to set aside the money now! I'm hoping it's not priced higher than the 35mm 1.4 since it's slower and smaller (fewer elements) which would put it around $499 US. Although I could see them marketing it as a more premium product since it's the RF style and has WR, but still hoping for not more than $499.
