  1. Here's what I'm missing: Good usable video Better locking mechanism for the dials (ISO is a pain to change sometimes, not as bad as with film but still ) AEB to +-2 EV (really missing this one from my Nikon) Dual SD-card slots (really missing this one too) Joystick, which will make it so much easier to use with gloves Centered tripod mount (my table tripod gets out of balance sometimes with my X-T1) Brighter EVF with auto brightness LCD tilts in portrait mode The improvements in back button AF are also very nice. As if it's worth it or not... That's what I'm trying to figure out. Maybe I'll be better off getting a cheap M4/3 camera for video or something, but if the image quality is as good or better in terms of the Fuji magic, then it may be worth it.. Hence this thread
  2. Hi! I'm really on the fence about upgrading from my X-T1 to the X-T2. It has a lot of improvements I like, usable video being one of them, but at the end of the day it comes down to image quality. I have heard a lot of conflicting opinions about the image quality of the X-T2 compared to the X-T1. Some say it's way better, others say it's missing the Fuji magic from the earlier generations. I love the image quality of my X-T1. So, upgrading to the X-T2 is a significant expense and if the magic isn't there then it may be a mistake upgrading. How do those of you that have upgraded feel about it? Any regrets? Was it worth it? If you have both then which do you prefer image quality wise? I'm talking OOC JPEG here mostly as RAW can be processed to taste either way, but any opinions from owners is appreciated. Don't want to spend the money and then be disappointed by the image quality. Thanks, Erik
  3. Thanks! Sounds like it's going to work well for my uses. I know it has slow AF, and that it's not a 1:1 and also the working distance. I was thinking about waiting for the 80 mm macro, but I bet it's going to be a lot more expensive. I also want something around 50 mm and I figured that the 60 is close enough. My uses will be product photography, detail shots, portraits possibly and just anything that 60 mm would fit for. The only thing I don't like about the specs is the lack of weather sealing.
  4. Hi! I'm thinking about getting the 60mm 2.4 macro and I was wondering if anyone is using it with an X-T2/X-Pro2 and can comment on how it performs? Is it a sharp lens?
  5. I'll probably get the grip, but maybe not right away. The main use cases for me would be faster AF/continuous the few times I need it, longer 4K recording and longer battery life for long sessions on tripod/time lapse. Most of the time it would stay off the camera to keep weight and size down. I also like the ability to charge 2 batteries in the grip. Skickat från min Nexus 5X via Tapatalk
  6. X-T2 for me. It's all I hoped it would be. All the minor things that slightly bother me with the X-T1 have been fixed. Although, the price... I was counting with a 30% price increase but it got about a 50% increase. And this is the first camera I actually want the battery grip for since it enhances the speed and video capabilities as well as act as a charger.
  7. I try to get what I want in camera. If needed I'll do some work in Lightroom. HDR blending and panoramic stitching for example. If it's a tricky bracket I may take it into Photoshop to do some manual blending of the different exposures. The more time spent with camera in hand instead of behind the keyboard the better for me. I do geotagging and keywording in Lightroom for most photos though.
  8. X-T1 as my primary camera, X-M1 as secondary/compact. Got the X-M1 super cheap with the XF27 which also got me another battery and charger
  9. Based on the correct color in the reflection I would say that you probably overexposed the red channel slightly.
  10. Are there any changes to the playback mode? I haven't read anything about it so I guess there's nothing major. I was hoping for current/total frame numbers at least, and maybe even an RGB histogram for those tricky situations.
  11. Oh, another one. Is AE bracketing any faster compared to the X-T1? The extra range is great, and if it's also using continuous high instead of low that would be even better.
  12. +1 here too. It's just a software thing that should be easy to fix. This is really the only thing I'm missing now with firmware 4.0 Oh, and it would be nice with an image number/total in playback. Like 56/70 to show that you are looking at image no 56 out of 70 total.
