Not going wider than 18mm so you can still use the OVF seems like a wise decision . . .

Seems you are looking for a different camera, X-T2. The X-Pro1 is a great camera, I would go for it but I would prefer the style of the X-Pro2 over the X-T2. But you're coming from an X 100t, so . . . . Here is my advice again " Try before you buy". The X-pro1 and the new X-T2 might be very different. There is no X-t2 yet so you might try a X-t1 in the shop. On this forum there is lots of info about the X-Pro1, you will see that there are different opinions, if you haven't done it already you might do so you could check.
