  4. That's a shame. Thanks for clarifying it.
  5. Hi all, I'm looking into focal reducer options and was wondering if it's possible to to use my Voigtlander 15mm with a focal reducer on the x system? I've looked into it and discovered the following: 1) There doesn't seem to be any direct L39 to Fuji X reducers available. However I could get an M42 to Fuji X reducer and also get an L39 to M42 adapter. 2) I have read that with an L39 mount there could be issues as its a rangefinder lens and therefore has a short flange distance. What I couldn't clarify was wether this was an issue for DSLR cameras only or wether it applies to the Fuji X as well. Anybody able to shed any light on this? It would be great to try my Voigtlander 15mm as a 15mm. Thanks
  6. A Voigtlander bessa L perhaps? The body can be had for under £100 here in the UK. You can put on a cheap Russian m39 lens until you can afford a Voigtlander lens.
  7. Tamron 90mm SP on an X-e2
  8. Enzio, is there an advantage of using the two adapters as you have done, as opposed to just using a m39 to Fuji x adapter? Thanks
  9. Nice pictures Enzio. Are they shot on a Fuji? How are you getting on with the lens?
  10. So...I went ahead and bought the Voigtlander 15mm and thought I'd upload some shots taken on my first outing. They are all shot at f8 with focus set at around 1-1.5 metres. Also, the images are jpegs straight out of the camera. My first impressions are very positive (with the quality rather than my photographic ability). I can see that there is some corner fall off but I'm hoping that I can fix this in Capture One. With regards to the corner softness, again I can see that it exists, but I'm not sure I'm worried about it at this stage. Anyway I guess time will tell.
  11. That would be great if you can. Thanks.
  12. Hans, your explanation and the information on the link are very helpful. I'm still swaying towards the 15mm, especially if the centre is still good. Thanks again.
  13. Thanks for the informative responses folks. Does that mean that apart from the corners it's good? Or do you really feel it's merely ok? I've currently got the xf35, xf27 and xf18-55. I want something wider but can't afford the xf14. Also I'm finding I use the xf27mm more often, even though it's the weaker performer, because of its compact size.
  14. Thanks dannat. Anyone have any experience using it on Fuji x cropped sensor? If heard about colour fringing and corner fall off. I'm wondering if this is a hugely noticeable and frequent thing or an occasional issue.
  15. Does anyone have any experience with this lens? I've found a couple of posts saying the original ltm mount isnt great on mirrorless. Anyone tried it on a Fuji x with success? I really like the size and look.
  16. Have you considered the Voigtlander Heliar 15mm? Ive been looking at the LTM but don't know how well it performs on the Fuji's. Maybe someone else can give there feedback from experience. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
